The Yocan UNI blinks 8 times at me

I purchased my Yocan Uni Pod a while ago and had recently figured out it isn't working. I go to plug it in and it blinks 8 times at me, without a pod in. I am unsure what this means.

Answer:
Please charge your UNI battery.
The Yocan UNI indicator light flash 10 times means it's low battery status.
