The screen of Yocan UNI Pro says "Shorted"

However, now when I put a cartridge in the Yocan UNI Pro, the screen says "Shorted". I don't know what the problem is. Maybe I just got a dud.

The cartridge center pin is extruded and getting pushed in, causing a short.
Wiping it down will clean it and usually resolve any shorting issues.
