Put a new cart in the Yocan UNI Pro says shorted

Bought a Yocan uni pro from a vape shop here around a month ago. Put a new cart in and it says shorted. Is there a warranty or anything? I cant be spending almost 40$ if these will just break


Answer:
Please try to use a q-tip to clean the contact points.
Or install another adapter to have a try.
