The first thing to try is gently blowing into the mouthpiece. If the clog is near the top of the mouthpiece, then carefully dislodge whatever is getting in the way. Try blowing into it about five times being very careful not to use too much force.

When cleaning the screen, you will first remove any chunky debris that may be sticking to it. Then, you will also soak the screen in an isopropyl alcohol solution. This does a great job of getting in between the tiny mesh of the screen, resulting in a completely clean filter screen!
