The Yocan Evolve Plus XL 2020 version sports an LED light to notify you and inform you of the battery status.

Short Circuit - 3 Consecutive Blinks (Usually a bad coil)

First, 3 blinks mean that the battery is in short circuit. Don’t worry since it means most of the time that you’re using a busted coil, so this is also an indicator that you might need to replace your coils.

Overtime - 8 Consecutive Blinks (Blinks after 10 seconds of use)
Second, 8 blinks mean that you’ve run into overtime. This is also a safety function so you don’t get to burn your coils, it’s your signal that you’ve been pressing the button now for 10 seconds.

Low Voltage - 10 Consecutive Blinks (Needs to recharge)

Finally, the LED light on the battery will blink 10 times when it's time to recharge. It’s recommended that you charge immediately since the battery may not last long after it tells you that it’s nearly drained.

Charging - stay on
Plug the micro USB plug into the bottom of the battery, just below the "Yocan" logo. Plug the large USB plug into your computer that supports USB 2 or USB 3.
A small red LED will light immediately, and stay on while charging.

When the charging is complete, the LED light will turn off. This took about 2 hours.

While charging, if you press the power Button, the Power Button Light will blink on-and-off 3 times.
