As a Special Operations Team Commander with Marine Raiders, Bryan Buckley fought for his country in Afghanistan. Now he wants his country to step up and do right by veterans – by allowing them to use cannabis instead of opiates to address the after-effects of their service. That’s why he founded Helmand Valley Growers Company (named after a valley in Afghanistan where he served during Operation Enduring Freedom), a cannabis brand that is channeling 100% of profits into medical cannabis research. The San Diego based label launched in early 2020 with a line of vaporizer cartridges with packaging that riffs on military motifs.
